The Royal Oak Shopping Centre is a 27,000 square foot retail space in Calgary, Alberta. The shopping centre features two architecturally pleasing high-end commercial buildings.

CCR Construction Ltd. acted as the Project Manager, Construction Manager and Design Builder on this project.   The project started with CCR working alongside the developer to do a feasibility study and then completed implementation of the design. The project featured unique challenges to ensure the adjacent properties were not disturbed.  In order to maintain the stability of the land, a 100 meter long and five meter deep retaining wall needed to be installed before construction could begin on the commercial space.  

Working with the developer, CCR helped to transform the space into 14 condominium type spaces that were sold to individual businesses for a variety of uses. The combination of a fast-tracked construction schedule, attention to cost controls, and an innovative condominium development process allowed the owner to sell all the units while the market was viable.
