Project Overview
The Lumsden Water Treatment Plant was constructed in 2002. The project consisted of a massive 1.5 Million Litre water storage reservoir and water treatment facility. The water tight reservoir was constructed from cast in place concrete using water proofing additives. This reservoir also acts as the foundation of the building.
The plant features a state of the art mechanical and chemical feed system with automated controls and a carbon charcoal filtration system.
The main building is an aesthetically pleasing metal cladded building which houses the safety compliant interior lifts and walkways.
