The Peepeekisis Community Hub on the Peepeekisis First Nation in Saskatchewan includes band administration offices, a community hall for hosting various events, a commercial kitchen, a daycare, and a convenience store. The building will provide a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment for staff, children, and the general public. The building will allow for community integration that’s inviting and culturally relevant for all who visit. The design for the Peepeekisis Community Hub was largely inspired by the large existing Pow-wow Arbour adjacent to the site. The circular design is also inspired by the Medicine Wheel, representing the Circle of Life individuals and the broader community are a part of.

Over the past 12 years, CCR has had the opportunity to partner with Peepeekisis First Nation on a variety of projects. The relationships forged with the Peepeekisis Community Members, has had a lasting impact on our company and we believe our relationship will continue to grow in the future.  We are excited for the opportunity to further expand our roots into the community and construct the most important building in a generation as a team.

The finalization of the Land Claim Settlement was a tremendous achievement for the Peepeekisis Community. Leaders and Elders worked hard through successive generations to make this settlement a reality. This beautifully designed multi-million-dollar Community Hub Building is a symbol of that achievement.
